Zenas Langworthy - Private |
Enlisted in Feb 1865, and discharged feb 1866. Served just a short time before end of the War. Zenas was my Great Grandfather.
Zenas lived in Argyle, NY and was one of the last 'Boys in Blue' to live in Washington County, NY.
In 1938 he was invited to go to the 75th Reunion of Gettysburg, but was unable to attend due to illness, in 1938. A few months after the Reunion, he passed away in 1938 at the age of 93.
His only major action was participating in the Seige and Fall of Petersburg at the end of the War.
